Unlike regular exfoliating gels which use larger, more coarse ingredients to physically exfoliate, Physiological Ultra-Fine Scrub is made with micronized diatomic and polyethylene powders that create physical exfoliation on a much smaller scale. It also contains APF (Activating Protease Factor), which promotes cell turnover through chemical exfoliation. The result is a special jellified texture that helps to reduce friction and irritation from rubbing while facilitating rinse-off.

Physiological Ultra-Fine Scrub contains Poloxamer, a mild cleanser that is so gentle it is used in contact lens solutions! It also contain's La Roche-Posay's thermal spring water. It is soap-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and safe for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
